About the School

The Greater Vancouver Chinese Cultural Centre Chinese School was established in 1981. The school recruits high-quality teachers and uses rigorous teaching materials. The school currently has more than 300 Cantonese and Mandarin classes, including not only traditional courses such as preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and advanced classes, but also interest courses such as art, calligraphy, singing, etc. It is the largest Chinese school in British Columbia.
Due to the epidemic, the school began to provide both online and physical classes to facilitate students to choose according to their needs.
In addition, during spring break and summer vacation, the school will offer spring camps, summer camps and summer Chinese classes, allowing students to learn through games and grow through learning.

Teaching Methods - The school adopts traditional and creative teaching methods to improve students' listening, speaking and writing abilities, thereby enhancing their potential.

Our students have won many awards in past public examinations, and our teachers’ simple and easy-to-understand teaching methods are designed to help young people build confidence and study hard. Our school often encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities to enhance their interest in learning Chinese. Our school’s teaching materials are extremely practical and can promote Chinese culture and multicultural values.
